Maureen Evans, Patient Coordinator
Maureen Evans, Patient Coordinator, brings over ten years of experience in the plastic surgery field to Wang Plastic Surgery. Born and raised in England, Maureen knew from the age of 6 that her future was in medicine. She started her own "hospital" and even "practiced" on some of her playmates with sharpened sticks! She has worked with everyone from newborns to Alzheimer's patients, and all ages in between.
Maureen has three daughters and two grandchildren (the pride and joy of her life) that she loves spending time with. She is very excited about the arrival of two more grandchildren from her eldest and youngest daughters. Maureen has many hobbies: reading (especially on the beach), gardening, decorating and, if the weather is blustery, baking. Maureen is also very involved in her church and ministry.
Maureen's perspective on plastic surgery: "Beauty is not just skin deep, and it definitely is not just in the eye of the beholder. Every person looking to improve their external appearance is also looking to improve their confidence. I believe that confidence is what plastic surgery is all about. I am happy to be working with Dr. Wang and the rest of the staff and look forward to sharing some of my own experience with the practice."

Michelle Chiang, Patient Relations Specialist
Michelle Chiang, Patient Relations Specialist, has worked for Wang Plastic Surgery since 2006. She is a native of Taiwan and has lived in Southern California for many years, eight of which have been spent working in the medical field. Michelle has always had compassion for those in need, caring for everyone from terminally ill patients to individuals struggling with infertility using the skills she has developed in Eastern Medicine. Michelle enjoys traveling, wine tasting, concerts, musicals and exploring different cuisines. She and her fiancé also volunteer for Habitat for Humanity and enjoy attending USC football games.
Michelle's perspective on plastic surgery: "Plastic surgery allows an individual to feel and look as beautiful on the outside as they are on the inside." Michelle understands the importance of self-esteem and feels plastic surgery can be both-life changing and empowering. She believes that what sets Wang Plastic Surgery apart is the strong focus on service and building long-term relationships with patients.

Venus Brinkman, Office Administrator
Venus Brinkman, Office Administrator, has been in the medical field since 1991, bringing with her a wealth of knowledge. She was born and raised in Southern California, attended Cal Poly and worked in the orthopedic field for twelve years. She was very instrumental in the planning, development and opening of several surgery centers in Southern California. Venus enjoys spending time with her family and is kept very busy raising two children. She also enjoys water sports, boating and swimming.
Venus's perspective on plastic surgery: Venus is pleased to see that plastic surgery has become more attainable to the mainstream middle class. She believes technology is supporting this change by allowing Riverside, California plastic surgeons to perform procedures that require less downtime and involve less post-surgical discomfort. She has worked with Dr. Wang since 2007 and understands that the practice is defined by a strong emphasis on patient comfort and satisfaction as much as it is defined by Dr. Wang's expertise and surgical skill.

Danielle Urrutia, Front Desk Coordinator
Danielle Urrutia, Front Desk Coordinator, brings a warm and friendly attitude to Dr. Wang's front office. A student of public relations and communications, Danielle is a valuable point of contact for patients and helps keep the office organized and running smoothly. Being part of a journey that allows people to look and feel their best is so gratifying that Danielle sees herself staying in the plastic surgery field for many years to come, even after she finishes her education.
Danielle enjoys spending time with her family, walking her two dogs, staying up-to-date on current events, getting outdoors in that lovely Southern California sunshine, and going to concerts with her boyfriend.
Danielle's perspective on plastic surgery: "I am happy to be working as a part of Dr. Wang's team. The decision to have plastic surgery is a very personal decision. It can be scary for some and that is why it is important to have a good staff that is trained and ready to hold each patient's hand through the whole process. I am glad to answer patients' questions, prepare them for what to expect before and after surgery, and help them any way that I can."
